Innovated, developed and built in Canada, our GeoH2(O) technology reduces the costs of fresh water and clean power by up to 85%. It also reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 20%. GeoWater employs a number of innovative and proprietary technologies developed by world leading experts in future energy systems at the University of Alberta. Using well established processes and subsurface designs from the oil and gas industry, GeoH2(O) enhances the geothermal cycles to improve the efficiency of thermal water desalination process.

GEES has been working with clients for years on a variety of innovative engineering projects to design and commercialize future energy systems. Through our activities, we aim to use the latest technologies in order to improve the way our communities extract, harvest, transport and use energy. Our mission is to serve clients across various sectors with practical engineering and energy services.

Geo(H2)O: we are pioneers in providing green water desalination processes using innovative and proprietary technologies developed in Canadian top research institutions.

Fourier Subsurface Casing: we are the only global provider of a new technology with proven enhancements to geothermal energy harvesting. Using flow modifications in subsurface casings, we concentrate the flow towards the core, which improves heat transfer rate and production.

Fourier Pipes: our proven and proprietary technology enhances pipe flow regime, reduces corrosion and erosion, while lowering the risk of emulsion formation in pipes. This technology is proven to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in oil transportations, waste disposal and water transport.

ASAD HEMMATI, P.Eng.

CEO & President

Asad provides the leadership and strategic planning for GEES Energy. Prior to GEES, Asad has worked as a professional engineer in the energy sector over 30 years with a diversified experience in program management, project management, engineering management, project engineering, construction site management and mechanical engineering of revamps and grassroots facilities around the world. His experiences range from middle east to Europe, US and Canada. In the past few years, Asad has worked in different energy transition projects from concept design to pilot and commercial scale. Having overseen projects from feasibility to commissioning, Asad brings strategic thinking and practical solutions to new technology deployment and all aspects of project execution.

NAZIN NEJAD, MBA, MA

VP Finance

Nazin is a highly accomplished senior finance management executive with more than 9 years of progressive experience in finance and operation management within startups, non-for-profits and multi-billion-dollar companies. She has demonstrated talent and ability to streamline business operations that drive growth and increase efficiency.

Nazin has a strong passion with unparalleled qualifications in develop and implement financial controls and processes in addition to production improvement.

MAZIAR SHIRAZIAN, MSc., P.Eng.

VP Technologies & Engineering

Maziar is a registered P.Eng. who brings 20+ years of oil & gas industry experience to our team. His experience includes operations, project management, opportunity framing and business development. He has extensive experience in developing and adopting technologies for subsurface and surface development with proven track record on delivering unique technologies to adhere economic feasibility. Maziar recently led a start up company to provide autonomous solution to inspection and monitoring of remote facilities. He has had the opportunity to work in different entities across the world, including Canada, Europe , USA, and Middle-East.
